HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Basketball fell to Point Loma, 84-69, Saturday evening in Pacific West Conference play at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
Just three points separated the two teams at the midway point before Point Loma managed to pull away in the second half. The Sea Lions hit seven 3-pointers (12 total for the game) through the final 20 minutes while the Vulcans shot just 35.7 percent from the field (41.5 percent overall for the game).
Jamal Entezami led Hawai'i Hilo with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Julio Montes II was a perfect 10 for 10 at the free throw line on the way to finishing with 14 points.
