TUCSON, Arizona – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf finished No. 8 among 14 teams at the WT Desert Invitational hosted by West Texas A&M at Ventana Canyon on Monday and Tuesday.
Kailee McKee led the Vulcans tying for No. 14 overall at plus-6 on rounds of 75 and 75. Kiersten Saludares finished tied at No. 20 with a nine-over score.
The Vulcans posted rounds of 316 and 308 to finish plus-48. Eight teams are ranked inside the top 50 of the latest Scoreboard by Clippd rankings. The field also featured 12 individuals ranked inside the top 100.
Henderson State's Lily Nelson took the individual win at three-under (73–68) with West Texas A&M claiming the team title at plus-14 (295–295).
