GREENWOOD, Indianapolis – Hawai'i Hilo Softball placed five student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the 2026 season.
Awardees hold a 3.50+ cumulative grade point average (with at least sophomore standing) with participation in 90 percent of games (or starting 66 percent) during the season. Pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched at least 35.0 innings.

College Sports Communicators (CSC)
Founded in 1957, College Sports Communicators is a 4,700+ member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the U.S. and Canada; it adopted the College Sports Communicators name in 2022 after previously operating as CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). CSC oversees the Academic All-District and Academic All-America programs to recognize student-athletes for success in the classroom and in competition.
Academic All-America program
Established in 1952, the Academic All-America® program recognizes student-athletes for combined academic and athletic excellence across championship college sports, with honorees selected by CSC. Academic All-District selections advance to the national Academic All-America ballot, with teams chosen by CSC members.
