HAWAI‘I HILO ATHLETICS MEDIA + BRAND INFORMATION

Spencer Honda began as Interim Sports Information Director starting in summer 2022 before being named to the permanent role in April 2023.

Honda oversees the HiloAthletics.com website, game day coverage, media relations and digital/social media content creation for the Vulcans athletics department and its 12 varsity sports teams.

The O‘ahu-native previously worked as a multimedia reporter covering Hawai‘i high school sports for ScoringLive.com and arrived to the Big Island from Keystone College (Pennsylvania) where he served as Assistant Sports Information Director through the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minorities and Women's Internship Grant.
