Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Senior first baseman Phillip Steering wore out baseballs during a doubleheader on Sunday against Academy of Art. In the first game, he went 4-for-4 with two home runs and drove in five. On the day, he was 6-for-8 with a double, the two bombs, three runs scored, a walk and five RBI. His home runs were his eighth and ninth of the year, a single-season UHH school record. His home run in game one was a grand slam.
