The University of Hawaii at Hilo finished 18th at the Doc Housewright Invitational at Harbor Lakes Golf Club in Granbury, Texas.
Nyssa Aoki led the Vulcans with a 164 (83-81) on the par-72, 5790-yard course and was tied for 45th place.
Kacie Harada was tied for 65th place with at 168 (86-82) while
Dayna Bersamin was tied for 71st place (85-84=169) and
Kiley Umeda tied for 87th place (91-83=174).
Nicole Aoki withdrew from the tournament.
Host Tarleton State won the tournament with a 592 followed by Grand Canyon (611), St. Edwards (619), California-Pa. and Northeastern State (626), Academy of Art (638), Central Oklahoma (641), Cal Sate Monterey Bay (642), Western Washington (644), Nebraska-Omaha (645), Newman (654), Angelo State (663), Midwestern State (667), St. Martin's (670), Chico State (671), Cameron (671), West Texas A&M (673),
Hawaii Hilo (675), East Central (677), SW Oklahoma State (702) and Texas A&M-Kingsville (752).
Tarleton claimed the top three individual spots with Carla Cooper at 142 (74-68) followed by Katy Ward (77-70=147) and Jacqueline Lau (78-70=148).
