The University of Hawaii at Hilo gave 8^th-ranked Brigham Young University-Hawaii all they could handle but couldn't get that one rally in their 3-0 loss in the Canon Activities Center in Laie, HI.

The first set was a barn burner as neither team could build more than a two-point lead while set two was much of the same.
 
“We couldn't get that big point when we needed it,” said UHH Head Coach Tino Reyes. “But I like the way the girls competed.”
 
Bria Morgan led the Vulcans with 18 kills.
