Alexandra Marin connected on a 40-yard shot to give the University of Hawaii at Hilo a 1-0 victory over Fresno Pacific University on Amauulu Field in Hilo.
 
In the highly defensive match, Marin gathered a cleared ball and settle on the right side. With the defenders packed in the box, her shot cleared the goalie's outstretched hands, hit the left cross bar and bounded in for the score.
 
The Vulcans managed six shots while the Firebirds had three. UH Hilo goalie Jenna Hufford recorded just one save.
