Missouri Western State University thumped the Vulcans 10-2, then they bounced back to pummel Western Oregon University 12-0 in the tournament finale.
 
In game one the Missouri Western belted three homeruns to score eight of their ten runs. Griffon's pitcher Jackie Bishop held the Vulcans to two hits. One of the two hits was Emily Greene's two run homer, her fifth of the season.
 
Hannah Peterson tossed a five hit shutout and her teammates backed her with 19 hits and 12 runs. Rebecca Lee and Kristina Victa led the way with four hits each. Greene had three hits and 2 rbis, Colleen Aubrey and Brittany Huff added two hits apiece.
