Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The University of Hawaii at Hilo posted crooked numbers in four innings to sweep Brigham Young University-Hawaii 8-0 and 5-3 in Pacific West Conference softball action.
 
The Vulcans scored five runs in the 3^rd inning, and three in the 5^th to mercy rule the Seasiders in game one. Colleen Aubrey, Rebecca Lee, Kristina Victa and Brandi Wilson all paired hits, with Wilson hitting her first homerun of the season. Ashley Nelson tossed a five hit shutout for her fourth win of the season.
 
In the nightcap the Vulcans put up three runs in the bottom of the first and the Seasiders answered with a three spot of their own in the top of the 2^nd. Aubrey's RBI single and Emily Greene's sacrifice fly drove in two runs providing the difference in game two. Victa and Wilson had two hits each, Wilson's hits were both doubles. On the mound Hannah Peterson scattered five hits and three runs for her third win.
