A 3-day run of games came to an end with the University of Hawaii at Hilo beating Northwest Indian College 97-80 in Vulcans' gym.
Â
"The games have given us a good understanding of what we need to improve on," UH Hilo Head Coach
GE Coleman said. "It was a great test for us as we prepare for league play this week.
Â
"We have to clean-up our rebounding, defensive execution and turnovers. If we can rebuild those three phases of our game and get better at it, we'll have a better chance to compete."
Â
Tre Johnson led the Vulcans with 23 points and seven rebounds.
Darius Johnson-Wilson added 16 points and nine rebounds while
Randan Berinobis had 15 points.
