CALIFORNIA – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Basketball's Julio Montes II was named to the All-PacWest Third Team announced by the Pacific West Conference on Thursday afternoon.
Montes II was the lone Vulcan selected for all-conference honors — as voted on by the league's head coaches — marking a repeat selection for the senior from Illinois.
Point Loma's Andrew Nagy claimed both PacWest Conference Player of the Year and PacWest Conference Newcomer of the Year honors. Former Vulcan Andre Norris (Jessup) was named PacWest Conference Defender of the Year and teammate Tom Parsons earned PacWest Conference Freshman of the Year. Westmont's Justin Leslie was voted PacWest Conference Coach of the Year.
