HILO, HAWAI'I – The University of Hawaii at Hilo and Simon Fraser University played to a 110-minute scoreless tie in an NCAA Division II soccer match on Vulcans Baseball Field.

Jenna Hufford had a busy night in the goal for the Vulcans, making 18 saves with six in each half of regulation, four in the first OT and a pair in the final 10 minutes.
Offensively, Simon Fraser outshot UH Hilo 24-4 overall and 18-2 in the goal. The Clan also took took the corner kick tally, 14-5.
The Vulcans are on the road next week to open PacWest play on Oahu. On Thursday, September 17 they face Chaminade University in a 10 a.m. match in Honolulu. Two days later, they play Brigham Young University-Hawaii in a noon match in Laie.
