Bailey Cahill has been named the Pacific West Conference Defender of the Week for her defensive work during the final three matches of the regular season.
Cahill had a big hand in three consecutive road wins for the Vulcans, helping them to a final second place (tie) standing in the PacWest with 7-3-1 record (10-4-2 overall). She gave up just one goal in three matches, posting her sixth and seventh shutouts of the year in the process.
The Santa Rosa, Calif. native had 11 saves on the week and finished the year with 50 stops. Her 0.60 Goals Against Average is second best all-time on the Vulcan career list. This was her second PacWest Defender of the Week award this year.
