San Diego, Calif.-- Cal State San Marcos was the Biola Eagle Invitational champion shooting a team 25-above-par. The closest competitor was Point Loma who was nine strokes behind in second place at the Grand Golf Club.
The individual medalist was Point Loma's Raquel Prado who shot a 4-under-par in the first round and a three-above-par in the second to end the tournament a sizzling one-below-par (143). The nearest competitors were four swings behind Prado.
Kaelyn Uchida was the highest finishing Vulcan, improving by two strokes (+22) tying for 24th place. The order of finish for the remaining Vulcans was: Kailey Oki (+26, 32nd), Tia Kualii (+29, 36th), Tori Hironaga (+31, T37th), and Carli Shimokihara (+45, 43rd). Â
At the end of the day, UHH carded 684 finishing in eighth (+108).

The women's golf team competes next Apr. 11th at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona hosted by Western New Mexico.
