Since transferring to the University of Hawai'i at Hilo following the 2018 and 2019 seasons at St. Mary's University, Marcus Plataniotis (Drummoyne, New South Wales, Australia/Sydney Boys HS)Â had logged zero minutes of playing time. After making his first appearance earlier this month, the redshirt-senior got the start last Saturday against Hawai'i Pacific and headed in the Vulcans lone goal on the afternoon in the 82nd minute.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRYÂ /Â SRÂ /Â PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO
Emma Heidelmeier (Pagosa Springs, Colo./Pagosa Springs HS)Â set a new 5K personal best time at last Saturday's Chaminade Invitational at Patsy T. Mink Central O'ahu Regional Park. The senior's time of 21:26.4 beat her previous record by nearly 20 seconds, which she had set back in 2019 at the Biola Invitational. Heidelmeier also led the Vulcans with a seventh-place finish for a top 10 placement.
