FRESNO, California – The Hawai'i Hilo Women's Cross Country team wrapped up competition Saturday morning at the Pacific West Conference Championship with a 10th place finish at Woodward Park.
Freshman Kalani Gonzales led the Vulcans with a No. 67 finish for her best time of the season (26:08.6).
The remaining four Vulcans – Kate Smith, Aurea Streadbeck, Olivia Jarvis and Cloud Rodin — finished in order at No. 79-82. Rodin also improved on her personal best time with a 30:11.9 time.
Hawai'i Hilo totaled 298 points to finish in the No. 10 slot, 31 points behind HPU at No. 9 in front of them.

Concordia University Irvine finished at No. 1 and No. 2 with Jori Paradis taking the top crown.
Dominican is the only team not to score in the team standings due to having a shortage of runners in the race.
