Baseball Re-Enters Top 25 at No. 23

Vulcans went 3-1 last week against CUI and made their way back into the top 25 poll.

PEMBROKE, North Carolina – After a brief exit from the top 25 rankings, the Hawai'i Hilo baseball team has re-entered at No. 23 in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Division II Poll released earlier Wednesday.

The Vulcans debuted at No. 25 two weeks ago, and after an idle week resulting in landing outside the bubble, Hawai'i Hilo is back in after a 3-1 week against Concordia University Irvine.

Colorado Mesa (No. T-6), West Florida (No. 17), Quincy (No. 19) and Rogers State (No. 21) dropped out as Henderson State, Drury, Hawai'i Hilo and West Georgia took their places.

Reigning National Champion North Greenville (13-1) remained at No. 1 after garnering 475 points.

In the West Region rankings, the Vulcans totaled 100 points to remain at No. 4 behind CSU San Bernardino, PLNU and Cal Poly Pomona in order.
