HILO, Hawai'i – The 2024-25 basketball season is quickly approaching and to get things started, Hawai'i Hilo Men's Basketball will host its inaugural Men's Basketball Tip Off Banquet presented by Bank of Hawai'i on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the 'Imiloa Astronomy Center Moanahoku Hall.

Get ready for the upcoming season with an evening of fun and celebration in support of the Vulcans Men's Basketball program. Meet the coaches and student-athletes and get a preview of what's to come for 2024-25. 

"We are really looking forward to spending a great evening with some of our most faithful Vulcan 'Ohana. It is our goal to make this a tradition for our program as we celebrate the beginning of each new basketball season," fifth-year head coach Kaniela Aiona said. "Most importantly, we aim to create a special night for our student-athletes and community supporters to continue building lasting connections as we embark on the journey ahead. Go Vulcans!"

Hawai'i Hilo is coming off a third consecutive postseason trip to the PacWest Conference Championships after finishing with 19 wins last winter.

Tickets can be purchased at HiloAthletics.com/TipOff. Prices are $150 for a seat or $1,200 for a table of seven with a Vulcans player. Evening begins 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and program at 7 p.m.
