DOWNEY, California – Trinity Ledgerwood shot 10-plus to land just outside the top 20 to open the spring season as Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf placed No. 13 at the LA Spring Kickoff at the Rio Hondo Golf Club early this week.
Ledgerwood was among seven other golfers to shoot a ninth-best Round-2 score of 74 to jump up 11 spots on the individual leader board. The junior landed three of her four total birdies on the front eight in the second round.
The Vulcans totaled rounds of 320 and 322 to finish 74-plus overall.
Cal State San Marcos took the team win at 22-over while Cal State Monterey Bay's Tilda Kvarnrud placed alone at the top with an even score.
