LOS ANGELES – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Tennis dropped three matches in Southern California as part of its annual Spring Break week of action. Vulcans fell to No. 36 Concordia (4-3), No. 7 Azusa Pacific (4-3) and Biola (6-1).

Hawai'i Hilo entered the three-match stretch ranked No. 45 after the release of last week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association College Rankings poll, and first took on 36th-ranked Concordia with action halted at the end of Monday due to inclement weather. The match was knotted at 3-3 with the final singles match on Court 5 between Yu Jhe Du and Adam Kartzinel resumed Tuesday morning with CUI managing to squeeze out the victory.

Vulcans then headed North to take on seventh-ranked Azusa Pacific and once again narrowly fell by a score of 4-3, before falling on Wednesday to Biola, 6-1.

Reigning PacWest Player of the Week Jaime Paquet continued his winning ways by going 3-0 record on singles Court 1 to improve his overall season record to 8-2.

Hawai'i Hilo moved to a 3-7 record as Concordia moved to 11-2, Azusa Pacific to 11-3 and Biola to 6-6.
