Co-PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Hawai'i Hilo's Chloe Sales, LHP, Sr., 5-3, 'Ewa Beach, Hawai'i
Hawai'i Hilo's Chloe Sales threw a no-hitter against Vanguard last week and actually shut down the Lions twice during a pair of brilliant pitching circle performances. The lefthander threw the no-hitter on Friday during a 3-0 Vulcan win without allowing a walk and fanning two (she hit two batters). She got through the seven innings on just 58 pitches. On Saturday, she added another five shutout innings on just two hits during a 9-0 mercy rule win. For the week, the senior went 12 innings, allowing only two hits and no runs. This comes just one week after teammate Madison Rabe threw a no-hitter and was the PacWest Pitcher of the Week.
