CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf student-athletes combined to post the 23rd-highest team grade point average among all NCAA Division II women's golf programs for the 2024-25 school year with a mark of 3.648, as submitted to and announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
The Vulcans had the highest team GPA in the Pacific West Conference and ranked No. 3 among all West Region programs listed in the WGCA top 25. They were also recognized as a Ramon Goya Academic Team of the Year for highest GPA posted by a Hawai'i Hilo team this past school year.

Otani and Saludares were also previously recognized on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team for achieving a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
University of Central Missouri took home the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award with a 3.945 GPA. Division-I Ball State University (Indiana) had the highest GPA among all schools across all divisions at 3.968.
Women's Golf Coaches Association: The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. Today, the WGCA represents over 750 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
