ROCKLIN, California – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Soccer netted three goals to defeat Jessup, 3-1, Monday afternoon in Pacific West Conference play at Warrior Field.
Lukas Stark (14'), Iago Perez Ferreiro (23') and Aidan Santos (61') were the Vulcans goal scorers, with the latter two both netting their third scores of the season.
The Vulcans more than doubled the Warriors in shots at a 16-6 chip (7-3 on goal) and took nine corner kicks to just one by Jessup.
Hawai'i Hilo is off to a hot start through the early portion of the PacWest Conference season, totaling seven points to stand in first place at the moment (six schools have yet to play a conference contest).

PACWEST PRESEASON POLL
Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 2 in the Pacific West Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, tying with defending tournament champ Westmont in the second spot. The Vulcans finished the 2024 regular season at No. 5 in the conference standings and was one of four teams to qualify for the inaugural PacWest Conference Championships postseason tournament, falling to the Warriors in double overtime of the semifinal round. The 2025 PacWest Championships will be hosted by Westmont on Nov. 13-15 in Santa Barbara.
