HILO, Hawai'i – The 2025-26 Hawai'i Hilo Men's Basketball schedule features a home-friendly non-conference slate against tough competition as the Vulcans enter the sixth season under head coach Kaniela Aiona.
The Vulcans' first seven contests will be at home at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium starting with an exhibition on Nov. 5 against Nobel (NCCAA). Hawai'i Hilo will then host the PacWest-GNAC Crossover (Montana State Billings on Nov. 14 and Saint Martin's on Nov. 15) and the Southwest Airlines Big Island Invitational (Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 22 and Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 23) with additional neutral matches hosting Westmont and UCCS, respectively.
"We're looking forward to getting started," Aiona said. "We've got solid teams coming to the Big Island with a chance for us to play at home in front of our fans and the community. The PacWest season will always present its challenges but we'll be ready to battle with the best."
Hawai'i Hilo won't have a true road contest until the end of December when it travels to the ninth island for the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic at the South Point Arena taking on Rollins (Dec. 20) and Angelo State (Dec. 21).
Home PacWest Conference contests include: HPU (Dec. 4), Chaminade (Dec. 6), Dominican (Jan. 15), Vanguard (Jan. 17), Westmont (Jan. 20), Concordia (Jan. 22), Biola (Jan. 24), Jessup (Feb. 12), Point Loma (Feb. 14), Fresno Pacific (Feb. 17) and Azusa Pacific (Feb. 21).
