HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Softball swept Menlo, 5-2 and 8-0, on Friday afternoon in Pacific West Conference action at the Vulcan Softball Field to complete a four-game series sweep and extend its win streak to seven games.
Madi Lee earned her second win of the series with 4.0 innings of relief in Game 1 as Tehani Seto tossed a complete-game shutout to close the afternoon with Game 2.
Lexie Tilton highlighted the Vulcans offense with a grand slam in the second inning of Game 2.
Friday's results eliminated Menlo (11-22) from PacWest Championships contention as Hawai'i Hilo (18-10) continues to inch closer toward securing one of the four postseason berths. Concordia (26-6) and Biola (25-6) have already secured two of the spots while the Oaks join Chaminade (7-23) and HPU (4-26) as being mathematically eliminated — both of which are the Vulcans' final two opponents of the regular season (six games).

- Game 1: Menlo 2 - Hawai'i Hilo 5
- Madison Rabe got the start in the pitching circle and went 3.0 innings with just four hits allowed for one run. All nine outs were induced fly outs. To earn the pitching win on record in a seven-inning game, the starter must go at least 4.0 innings.
- Lee entered in the top of the fourth and finished with 4.0 innings pitched, two hits allowed with two walks for one run and two strikeouts.
- Hawai'i Hilo scored three runs in the second inning highlighted by a Breeann Leong two-RBI triple.
- Menlo got two runs back with a solo homer in the top of the third and an RBI triple in the fifth, but Rayna White led off the bottom frame with a triple as Kanoe Piltz cashed in with an RBI double for her 100th career hit before scoring later in the inning.
- Tilton had five putouts in left field and the outfield again combined for 10 total.
- Game 2: Menlo 0 - Hawai'i Hilo 8 (5 inn.)
- Seto allowed just two hits and gave up zero walks in facing 18 batters over 5.0 innings with 11 ground outs (four assists of her own) in the shutout.
- Tilton's grand slam (third home run of the season) in the second inning capped a six-run frame.
- Ava Monturio added a two-run double later in the inning to extend the lead to 7-0.
- Tilton also later drove in the mercy-rule run with an RBI single in the following inning.
- White moved to No. 10 on the program's all-time career hits list with 158, moving past Mari Kawano (2015-2018) at 155. White also moved to a five-way tie with Denise Nakabayashi (1993-1995), Kristina Victa (2013-2014), Kiarra Lincoln (2018-2021) and Jayda Favela (2022-2025) with six career triples.
- Tilton moved to No. 4 in the program records with 194 career hits, surpassing Emily Green (2012-2015).

The four-team 2026 PacWest Championships postseason tournament will be hosted by Biola on May 5-7 in La Mirada, California. Clinched: Concordia and Biola. Eliminated: HPU, Chaminade and Menlo. Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 6 in the Pacific West Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. The Vulcans finished the 2025 regular season at No. 6 in the conference standings.
