PUEBLO, Colorado – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Soccer fell to No. 22 Colorado State Pueblo, 1-0, in non-conference play Saturday evening at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
The ThunderWolves managed to sneak in a last-minute score in the 85th minute with a header off a corner kick.
Vulcans goalkeeper Tim Teicher made six saves in the loss as CSU Pueblo totaled a 17-5 margin in shots (7-1 advantage in shots-on-goal). Hawai'i Hilo was credited with just one shot-on-goal near the end of the first half.

In the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Rankings released this past Tuesday, the Vulcans came in at No. 5 in the West Regional Poll #2. In the National Top 25 Poll, Hawai'i Hilo was marked as having received votes.
PACWEST CONFERENCE PRESEASON POLL
Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 3 in the PacWest Preseason Coaches Poll. The Vulcans went 12-6-2 overall last fall with a runner-up finish at the PacWest Championships and its first-ever NCAA tournament appearance and victory in the NCAA Super 4 Region First Round. The 2026 PacWest Championships will be hosted by Dominican on Nov. 5-7 in San Rafael, California.
