Jameia McDuffie nearly flawless in 70-65 win over Brigham Young University-Hawaii

The University of Hawaii at Hilo came back from a six-point deficit to beat Brigham Young University-Hawaii 70-65 in a Pacific West Conference match in Laie, HI.
 
The Vulcans trailed 53-47 with 8-minutes to go in the game when Jamiea McDuffie hit a trey and Natalie Mata added a jumper to cut the gap to one. Then Elise Spain hit a pair of free throws to give the Vulcans their lead which grew to four on Kirsten Shimizu's 3-pointer.
 
McDuffie led the Vulcans with 21 points and seven assists. She was 4 of 4 from 3-point range, 7 of 7 at the free throw line and 5 of 6 from the field.
 
Spain ended with 14 points that included hitting 10 of 11 free throw attempts. She also hauled in eight rebounds.
 
Mata finished with 11 points.
