Daniela Sanz Caseli won at No. 1 singles and senior
Shanise Kaaikala captured victory on court five, but that would be the extent of the winnings for the Vulcans during a 7-2 loss to Stanislaus State on Tuesday at the Stanislaus State courts.
The Vulcans fell to 4-12 on the year with the loss, while No. 49th nationally ranked Stanislaus State improved to 3-5.
Sanz Caseli improved to 9-7 on the year in singles, all on court one. She defeated Cassidy Ferrell, 6-2, 6-4. Kaaikala took down Sooni Seul by a 6-0, 6-4 count for UHH's other win.
The rest of the day belonged to the Warriors. The only other close match of the day was at No. 1 doubles, where UHH's Sanz Caseli and
Sara Valero lost a tight battle to Ferrell and Jaella Conway, 8-6.
