KAILUA-KONA, Hawai`i--The Hawai`i Hilo women's tennis team took down the Chaminade Silverswords for the second time in three days by the same count of 9-0, this time on Sunday morning at the Holua Tennis Center.
The Vulcans improved to 2-1 on the season, while Chaminade is now 0-3. The Vulcans will wrap up their stay in Kona with a Monday morning match (10 a.m.) against No. 4 nationally ranked Hawai`i Pacific.
UH Hilo captured all the singles matches in straight sets, and only dropped a total of three games in the process.
