COSTA MESA, Calif.—The Hawai`i Hilo men's tennis team swept doubles play to set the table for a 7-2 win over Concordia on Saturday afternoon at the Costa Mesa Tennis Center.

The No. 5 nationally ranked Vulcans won their seventh straight match, improving to 10-1 on the season. The Eagles fell to 5-8 on the year.

Vaclav Slezak and Alessandro Giuliato also improved to 10-1 on the year with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively, both in straight sets. That duo also cruised at No. 1 doubles (8-3). Chun En Wu and Gregory Zukeran were also double winners, with Wu surviving Daniel Reddmann at No. 3 singles (3-6, 7-5 10-5) and teaming with Zukeran at No. 3 doubles to roll, 8-3. Zukeran won on singles court six over Shimon Murakami, 6-3, 6-2.

Alex Fillat Perez and Bruno Figlia completed the doubles sweep on court two, 8-4.

The Vulcans next head to Biola on Monday for a 4 pm match-up with the Eagles.
