KOHALA COAST, Hawai'i-- Host UH Hilo finished the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in ninth place at the beautiful Hapuna Golf Course.
Grand Valley State got the team win finishing 25-above-par followed by Biola (+30), Sonoma State (+43), Colorado Christian (+44), UT Tyler (+50), Vanguard (+73), Cal State Monterey Bay (+77), Simon Fraser (+84), UH Hilo (+86), Northwest Nazarene (+95), Hawai'i Pacific (+107), and St. Martins (+115).
The Dennis Rose individual champion was Biola's Brady Turnquist. Turnquist carded two-under-par to claim the champion title. Faith Kilgore (Colorado Christian) slid into second place (E) followed by Sonoma's Lexi Neilson in third (+3).
The top Vulcan finisher was once again Kaelyn Uchida. Uchida finished 12-over-par in 15th place. Kailey Oki was the second Vulcan finisher (T40) followed by Tia Kualii (T46), Kiri Oshiro (T49), and Tori Hironaga (54).
The Vulcans don't play next until Mar. 7th at the Women's Fujikara Invitational hosted by Cal State San Marcos.
