Jenna Waki has been named the Pacific West Conference Hawaii Pod Player of the Week for her work in two Vulcan wins over the weekend at Chaminade.
Waki filled up the stat sheet in Hawai`i Hilo's first two wins of the season as the Vulcans improved to 2-2 on the season. In the first win, Waki scored 10 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field and added five rebounds, one assist and a block. The following day, Waki scored a career-high 13 points, making 6 of 7 shots from the free throw line. She also had eight rebounds in the win for the Vulcans with six coming on the defensive end.
