HILO, Hawai'i– The women's basketball team is in Southern California, preparing to face Azusa Pacific, Concordia Irvine, Biola, and Point Loma. 

The women's basketball team is 7-2 overall and 4-1 in the PacWest Conference, leaving them in second place in the PacWest Standings. The Vulcans are riding a five-game winning streak after their recent 77-63 win over Dominican in the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. 

UH Hilo will begin their SoCal business trip by facing APU tomorrow, Jan. 21 at 12:15pm HST in the Felix Event Center. The Cougars are currently undefeated in the PacWest (7-0) and 11-1 overall this season. If the Vulcans top the Cougars, they will advance to first place in the conference by winning the head-to-head game. 

Next, the Vulcans will get a rematch against the Concordia Eagles and then take on Biola and Point Loma for the first time.
