SAN LEANDRO, California – The Hawai'i Hilo women's cross country team wrapped the season with a No. 9 placement at the Pacific West Conference Championships Saturday morning at the Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline Course.
Senior Emma Heidelmeier led the Vulcans with a 57th-place finish at a 25:27.5 time.
Sabina Boo-Rivera, Summer Corke, Aurea Streadbeck and Julie Hedlund followed in order to help the Vulcans get the best of Dominican and Holy Names in the team standings.
Hawai'i Hilo also finished just behind the other two Hawai'i schools as Hawai'i Pacific placed seventh and Chaminade at eighth.
Biola University swept all four titles, winning both the men's and women's individual and team championships. Sophomore Lynette Ruiz won the women's 6K at a time of 21:27.8.
