BILLINGS, Mont.-- Aniwania Tait-Jones from the UH Hilo men's basketball team received second team all-region honors from the D2CCA.

Tait-Jones was the only underclassmen to earn all-region honors, leading his team in points (458), rebounds (215), steals (42), and blocked shots (18).

Tait-Jones collected seven double-doubles this season. He averaged 17 points a game with a career-high of 30 against CUI. The Freshman also had the second-most rebounds in the PacWest, averaging eight a game.

Tait-Jones adds D2CCA Second Team All-West Region to his other accolades he received this season including: PacWest Freshman of the Year, First Team All-PacWest, and a two-time PacWest Player of the Week. He is also the only player in PacWest history to be named Newcomer of the Year their first year and Freshman of the Year their second.

The D2CCA all-west region teams are selected by sports information directors from schools in the west region.
