KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Basketball placed six student-athletes on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court along with earning NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 season.
NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The Vulcans were among seven schools from the Pacific West Conference to earn recognition. This year marks the fourth time the Men's Basketball program has earned team academic recognition through Kaniela Aiona's six seasons as head coach.
More than 2,300 total student-athletes earned NABC Honors Court recognition and over 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2025-26.
