SAN DIEGO, Calif.--The UH Hilo women's tennis team slipped 6-1 to Point Loma Friday afternoon at the PLNU Tennis Courts.

Hikari Osaki scored the Vulcans lone point, defeating PLNU's Amanda Letzring in a three-set battle. Osaki won the first set 6-3 and came back to win the tiebreaker 10-5 after dropping the second set 6-2.

Julia Barden nearly topped PLNU's Thelma Sepulveda. Barden lost a close first set (7-5) and came back to win the next set 6-3, but lost 10-6 in the tiebreaker. 

The Vulcans next match is Sunday, Apr. 3 against Hawai'i Pacific at the UHH Tennis Courts.
