TURLOCK, Calif.--Dustin Franko led the UH Hilo men's golf team, averaging one-above-par in the first two rounds of the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational. Franko is currently tied for 14 with one more day of play in the tournament.
Keith Ng was the next highest finisher, tied for 50th (+11) followed by
Noah Lau and
Nicholas Gomez who were tied for 65th (+14) and then
Andrew Otani who rounded up the group at 72nd place (+17).
The top three teams after today's finish were Western Washington (-1), Stanislaus State (-5), and Chico State (+3).
The Vulcans are currently 14th of of 15 teams. UHH leads Cal State East Bay by eight strokes.
The Vulcans will tee off again tomorrow for the final day of the Hanny Stanislaus Invite.
