HILO, Hawai'i – The Hawai'i Hilo Women's Cross Country enjoyed its lone home event of the season and celebrated its two seniors on a rainy Saturday morning at the Grand Naniloa Resort Banyans Golf Course.
Kalani Gonzales led the Vulcans with a seventh-place finish as the team finished third in the standings behind Chaminade and HPU.
Seniors Olivia Jarvis (Oceanside, California) and Aurea Streadbeck ('Ewa Beach, Hawai'i) were honored following the event.

The Silverswords finished ahead of the Vulcans and the Sharks with Maria Steinke and Nikiji Dayse finishing No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
On the men's side, Chaminade was the only team to place in the team standings as HPU's Kent Glover took the top spot.
The Vulcans will have one more meet on back on the North Shore of O'ahu at the HPU Invitational before heading up to Fresno, California for the PacWest Conference Championships on Oct. 21.
