KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Soccer entered the top 25 at No. 25 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 National Rankings released Tuesday morning.

This is the first time this season the Vulcans have landed in the top 25 after having previously being marked as "receiving votes" in last week's poll. After starting the season 0-0-2, the Vulcans have won four consecutive matches.

Colorado School of Mines moved up two spots to take the top ranking in the top 25 poll.

Hawai'i Hilo also moved up to No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches West Region Rankings — the original spot the Vulcans were slotted in for the preseason poll.

UNITED SOCCER COACHES

Founded in 1941 and based in Kansas City, Missouri, United Soccer Coaches has grown into the world's largest soccer coaches' organization that serves members at every level of the game.

United Soccer Coaches conducts the most widely recognized national and regional soccer ranking system in the country as a service to the general public and its members. The intent of the rankings program is to stimulate greater interest in men's and women's soccer at the intercollegiate and interscholastic levels and to recognize those programs that are enjoying remarkable success on a regional and national level.

United Soccer Coaches rankings, released every Tuesday during the regular season, are an indicator of week-to-week status of qualified programs and in no way should be used as a guide or indicator of eligibility for championship selection.
