HILO, Hawai'i – After 13 matches, the Hawai'i Hilo Women's Tennis team finally got to play on its own home court and posted two 7-0 victories over Chaminade on Sunday at the UHH Tennis Courts.
In doubles action, Nanami Okamaoto and Akari Ichikawa claimed a 6-0 win on Court 2 in the morning match followed by additional clean sheets posted by Satoho Toriumi and Julia Barden (Court 2), and Hana Hofmanova and Hikari Osaki (Court 3) in the afternoon contest.
Barden and Osaki each also captured 6-0, 6-0 sweeps in singles play as Cami Oyama went a combined 24-0 in games through Sunday's twinbill action.
For the Silverswords, their season is now concluded at an 0-11 record with their last win coming in March 2019.

The Vulcans will host their final matches of the regular season next weekend, April 6-7, against HPU at the UHH Tennis Courts.
