HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Tennis tuned up before its final weekend of regular-season competition with a 7-0 victory over Chaminade in the first home match of the season Wednesday morning at the UHH Tennis Courts.

Vulcans were victorious in all three doubles matches before also sweeping the six singles matches.

Hawai'i Hilo moved to a 7-9 record as Chaminade concluded its season at 0-13 overall.

PACWEST RANKINGS: In the second Pacific West Conference season rankings released Wednesday, Hawai'i Hilo was slotted at No. 10 among the 17 teams competing for 12 spots at the PacWest Championships held April 16-19 at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club in Arizona. The final selections and seedings will be unveiled April 7. The rankings are voted on by a committee of eight administrations from PacWest schools with the top two criteria (from a list of seven) listed as head-to-head results and records against common Division-II opponents.
