The University of Hawaii at Hilo fell to Dixie State College 2-0 in a Pacific West Conference match on Amauulu Field in Hilo, HI.
 
The Vulcans are 2-9-1 overall and 1-6 in the PacWest while the Red Storm is 6-3-2 overall and 5-0 in the PacWest.

“I'm very happy with how the men of Hilo played today,” said UHH Head Coach Bryan Green. “This was one of our best games of the season. There was a lot of fantastic soccer played. We took some huge steps forward in terms of unity, organization and effort.”
 
Defense played a big role in the game as the Vulcans made 15 saves with goalie Paul Elias picking up 12 in a 90-minute performance.
