HONOLULU, O'ahu-- UH Hilo edged out Hawai'i Pacific to claim the second place spot at the Chaminade Invitational.

The Sharks have placed above the Vulcans at the past two invitationals, but the Vulcans have picked up speed at every meet and finally were able to surpass Hawai'i Pacific. At the first meet of the 2021 season (
The Big Wave Invitational) HPU beat UHH by 40 points, in the second meet (
HPU Invitational) by 20, and at the third (Chaminade Invitational) UHH beat the Sharks by three points.Â
