Drew Yezbak was efficient off the bench through the Vulcans' three games, shooting 6 of 9 from beyond the arc (0.666) to finish with a total of 20 points.
In Hawai'i Hilo's narrow 87-84 win over Chaminade on Dec. 3, Yezbak splashed a 3-pointer at the 7:03 mark to tie the game at 68 before the Vulcans proceeded to take the lead for the final time.
On Dec. 12 against HPU, Yezbak hit back-to-back 3-pointers midway through the second half to help the Vulcans re-extend their lead and fend off the Sharks' comeback attempt.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALLÂ /Â FIFTH YEARÂ /Â HILO, HAWAI'I
Mandi Kawaha set the program's single-game scoring record with 36 points in a narrow overtime loss to HPU on Dec. 1. In the process, the fifth-year senior also became the program's all-time career leader in assists. Kawaha also hit a game-tying 3-pointer in the final minute of regulation.
In the Dec. 10 rematch with the Sharks, Kawaha notched her third career double after totaling 10 rebounds and 20 points.
