PALO ALTO, Calif.--UH Hilo duplicated their Thursday score on Friday on the second day of The Goodwin at the historic Stanford University Golf Course.

The Vulcans, the only Division II team in the deep Division I field, put their second 299 on the board and now sit at +39 over par. After shooting a sizzling 67 on Thursday, UHH's Keith Ng cooled off with a 74 today, but still sits at just one shot over par on the Par 70 course.

Host Stanford leads the field by seven strokes (-20) with Southern Methodist and Nevada next (-13). The Vulcans are in 27th place in the loaded field, ahead of Howard and ten shots back of Miami (Ohio).

Dustin Franko had UHH's best round of the day with a 71, equaling his Thursday round. He sits at +2 for the tournament. 

UC Davis' Lucas Cooper is tied in the medalist chase with Stanford's Karl Vilips, both at -9 for the two rounds. Cooper shot a 65 today to go with his 66 (Thursday), while Vilips did the opposite with a 66 today and a 65 yesterday. Three others sit just one shot back at---Carson Lundell (BYU), Sampson Zheng (UC Berkeley) and Petyon Callens (Nevada), all at -8. 

The teams will play one more round on Saturday. The Vulcans tee time will be shortly after noon (PT).
