CALIFORNIA – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Golf swept the first Pacific West Conference Men's Golf weekly awards of the season, sharing Co-Player of the Week honors between Ben Crinella and Jacob Torres along with Team of the Week distinction.
Crinella and Torres claimed individual wins on the Vulcans' season-opening trip to Washington, finishing in first place at the Saint Martin's University Bishop Invitational (Sept. 26-27 at The Home Course) and the Western Washington University Invitational (Sept. 29-30 at Bellingham Golf & Country Club).
The three-time reigning PacWest Conference Champions posted fifth and seventh place finishes, respectively, placing ahead of all fellow PacWest schools at each event filled with regional teams.

- Fifth Place: 294–282–274 (-14)
- Individual Win: Crinella (69–68–69 / -10)
- Tied for second-best three-round score in program history
Sept. 29-30 at WWU Invitational (Bellingham, WA)
- Seventh Place: 291–291–294 (+12)
- Individual Win: Torres (67–70–72 / -7)
- Fended off four tied first-place golfers by winning a three-hole playoff
