HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Cross Country made it three for three this season by claiming victory on home turf at the Hawai'i Hilo Invitational (6K) on Saturday morning at the Grand Naniloa Resort Banyans Golf Course.

The Vulcans captured team victories at all three events this season hosted by each of the Hawai'i Division-II schools. Saturday marked the third time Hawai'i Hilo took first place in its home event — the first since 2007.

Kathleen Raab led the way with a runner-up finish followed by Sequoia Gonzales, Chloe Kolb and Sam Morinaga in order. Summer Corke and Isabel Raymond landed at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively, while Brooklyn Shanks rounded out the results with a No. 11 placement.

Chaminade's Nikiji Dayse finished first at a time of 22:28.0.

OTHER NOTES

• Isabel Raymond was recognized as the Vulcans' lone senior on the team. Raymond (Toronto, Canada) is in her second season competing at Hawai'i Hilo after transferring from Iona (New York) last fall.
