Unlike the first two days of the tournament, the front half of the field started in the afternoon. At press time, with some players and teams still having to play 5-6 holes to complete play, the team trophy was going to come down to a battle between No. 9 nationally ranked University of Washington and No. 14 Stanford. SMU and Nevada were also still in contention. For medalist honors, UC Davis' Lucas Cooper was already in the clubhouse with a -12 for the tournament and Sampson Zheng of UC Berkeley was also done for the three rounds at -11. Still on the course but in contention were Peyton Callens (Nevada) at -11 and Noah Goodwin (SMU) at -9. Both were through 13 holes.
